2013 Brembo 5.0
Hi All,
Just picked up this leftover 2013 for an awesome deal. It's good to be back in a mustang and I've got big plans for this car! Seems like silver isn't a very popular color but **** it looks great in direct sunlight.
Its got:
Premium Package
Brembo Brake Package
3.73
Comfort Package
Reverse Sensing Package
Floor mats!
I already plasti-dipped the hood vents and ordered a boss shift **** and GT500 alcantara shift boot. I'm planning on adding a CDC GT500 grill, Borla S types and shock/struts/springs suspension upgrade.
This brembo package suspension is pretty terrible after driving a Boss 302 and Focus ST. It feels super bouncy and soft and the ride quality isn't any better than the Boss. Acceleration feels the same as the Boss. I like this car better so far because it's more understated and I feel more free to tailor it to my liking appearance wise.

Thanks guys! I'm thinking exhaust is next. Debating between borla s types or the gt500 quad.
...Or maybe quad s types if I can bring myself to spend that much money haha.

Went and raced at Bandimere for the first time ever on Wednesday. Was fun, but its sad seeing how slow my times, and the times of most cars in general are at this altitude haha. Density altitude was around 8500-9000' for most of the evening. On a side note, I swear there were more GTR's there than any other car.
I also had a lot of trouble hitting 3rd gear. I ordered the steeda shifter bushing/bracket to try and help with that.
Here was my best run, against a stage 2 2006 STI. I was car #867:
According to drag times density altitude calculator, that would convert to roughly:
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
12.669 @ 114.887 MPH
Extensively Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
12.98 @ 111.996 MPH
Those conversions seem extreme to me for a stock 5.0 at sea level though, and I highly doubt I was driving that well.

Installed borla S types and CDC Grille about two weeks ago. need to find my camera so I can have a proper photoshoot. Here's some quick sexy iphone pics to hold their place until then lol.
The Borlas are as amazing as everyone makes them out to be. Glad I did exhaust right the first time. Sounds just a little quieter than my Boss with the side restrictors open did, probably mostly because the exhaust is coming from the rear of the car now. Install was super easy, and I got lucky because the tips lined right up the first try.
CDC grille install was easy, just took forever since I decided to remove the front bumper because I read somewhere I could prevent having to cut stuff by doing that....but no I still had to cut off the fog brackets. I painted the AC condenser black with high temp spray paint, turned out nicely.
Up next I'm working on locating a used X3 tuner and intake at the moment so I can get an AED tune.
