To stripe or not to stripe
I love black Mustangs. The only problem with them is that you don't see all the style lines & grill openings. Without seeing those things, the car just kinda washes out in any light except bright daylight.
The stripes helps show the body contours as well as the grill openings.
I like the stripes on your car.

Hello, this is my first post on these forums. I've been lurking for a bit but just haven't found the opportunity to explore and post. I got my first 'stang back in April, a black 2011 GT 6mt. Since, I have lowered it on H&R's, put the American Muscle Eleanor louvers on the windows and put Flowmaster Outlaw axle-backs on.
Now, for the subject at hand. This weekend, I will be putting on silver Eleanor racing stripes down the top with matching hash marks. I feel that with the stance and stripe design mixed with hash marks that the car will be gorgeous. I will post results when completed.
On the car at hand, I think that the stripes would look better if they were a litter narrower or if it had stripes going down through the bottoms of the doors. But either way, I would keep them. They are the first step to a beautifully modded mustang!
