I've been on here a few months so I thought I'd post any changes I make here rather than start a bunch of different threads. Previously owned a 2005 Mustang GT. Some things I changed then switched back, like painting my wheels. I'll post those in case others want to see the end result.

Purchased my 2013 in VA. Actually the dealer let me take it home after I made a deposit. Went back with my wife the next morning to finish up the paperwork. This was late March. Please excuse my weak cell pics I plan to get a decent camera soon. I've gotten a ton of help from members here on TMS. So here we go!

 

Tint done after a couple weeks. 20% all around. The temp tag's about ready to go.

I didn't have $ for wheels and I was bored so I plast-dipped the wheels early on. I had it on over the summer and took it off in August I think. After a bunch of road trips and brake dust it took its toll. Good time to do it now if its humid be sure to space it out early morning or late night. Goo gone to remove.

Wheels look good too, how long did that take? Any plans to plasti dip other items?

 

I did have the blue coil covers but I wanted something a bit different so I sold those and painted the coil covers myself. Krylon gloss red.

I found a "smoke" plasti-dip which I hope is a bit darker than the silver strut bar so I plan to try that.

 

sound tube delete went w/ cooltech kit 12 bucks. I need a pic of the engine bay without it. oops

 

I like the Chesapeake Bay plate in blue. I've had a bunch of people come up to me for a laugh. I was taken had to use 1.

 

Replaced the front speakers. Alpine 5x7 from Amazon. Need to order the rear pair. A couple of the tabs had to be broken off for them to fit.

 

Been looking at those speakers, any noticeable change?

 

Yes. It definitely sounds better.

 

Do you have any of the shaker systems or is it just stock 4 speakers ?

Sorry not sure how to describe them, look at the pic of the Alpine speaker, just above the rubber surround... there are 6 tabs. 1 or 2 needed to be snapped off. Notice the stock speaker to the left has 4.

 

Did you replace all for or just the doors

Is it a good enough difference for you to eventually swap them all out or the back just gonna stay stock
