Holy Moly!

What a finish at Richmond! Kenseth was trying to make his 'Yota five lanes wide on the last restart until Lagano snuck by on the bottom and pulled away for the win.

that was a great finish, Brad and Joey had excellent short run speed which (luckily for them) was what it came down to. Plus after the race Ambrose got a landed a good right hand to Mears' face down in the garage.

That was exciting. I was cheering for Brad, but glad his teammate won and not Kenseth.

I have to agree , the race at Richmond was a really good race. I have watched all the Sprint Cup races except for Bristol. All the races have had some of the best finishes I have seen in years. The NASCAR races are better this year than in the last three years. Bad Brad was charging to the front at Richmond and looked like he was going to win until he was blocked by Kenseth. He still tried hard to get by Gordon and Kenseth and drove his car on the edge while trying to find room to squeeze between Kenseth and the wall. While Gordon and Kenseth were racing with Bad Brad, Logano shot under all three to win. What a race ! Talladega should be another good race.

Meh, not a fan of plate racing. I suppose its ok if you like to see a lot of carnage. IMO its just a bunch of cars running around in a big pack waiting for someone to f up and cause "The Big One". Sorry, not real racing. Heck, even a mediocre driver like Danica has a decent chance of winning one of those races, especially when, not if, all the better drivers get caught up in "The Big One".

Plate racing has some good benefits. Almost every driver in the race has a chance to win because the cars are more equal. It is good to see different drivers win. A great deal of concentration is required by the drivers so they do not wreck while they run so close together in large groups. Good strategy and a quick thinking driver can win at Talladega.

Unhappy

After watching last weeks Dega 500, I have to agree with what bksn8k said. I did not enjoy the race very much. Not much passing for the lead and an less than exciting finish.
