Something tells me this ain't over.

It was actually a 1979 Daytona 500.
First NASCAR race that was live on TV from beginning until the end.
And actually it was Bobby Allison, not Donny. Cale wrecked Donny, Bobby stopped to offer a ride to Donny and then started fighting with Cale.

This is the event that rocketed NASCAR into the lime light and created the huge fan base they have now..IMO. Really there has not been any real drama in this sport for years, Johnson wins the cup and there was much rejoicing.....Yeah......
