You don't find bolted on fake hood scoops, fake blower intakes complete with red holes, tacked on giant non-functional spoilers, body kits, lights, stickers etc....tacky? I sure do, and I just described 90% of what comes out of Saleen. Engine mods...fine. They do a nice job of tuning. But their cars look like they are ready to make their debut in Knight Rider or Death Race. And if they said "Honda" or "Nissan" on them, you'd be putting up the 'puke' emoticon.

Haha that is funny so all that engineering work for tooling that we did, and Steve than just went to pep boys and bought the parts, wow I wish I had know!
Those home heating duct grates you "engineered" for the hood of that 25th anniversary mess-mobile look great too. So I guess he's slapping his name on parts from Home Depot now.
People will complain about the 2010's "sideburns" being too "ricey" and then get all excited about a car that looks like it's ready to go into orbit it has so many scoops, flaps and fins.
Saleens always remind me of a High Performance Cheese Grater with all of those Gills, Grills, and Scoops. I really can't stand many aftermarket Ground Effects for that reason. They just do not know good taste and restraint to design something that Flows With the styling and looks like it's actually part of the car.
I've never been a big fan of MOST Saleens for that reason. There are few that I have seen who's styling is more reserved but freakin' sweet at the same time. I like those. For example:
