But their cars look like they are ready to make their debut in Knight Rider or Death Race. And if they said "Honda" or "Nissan" on them, you'd be putting up the 'puke' emoticon.
Actually that hood has a fully functional ram air hood!

If that's the stuff pep boys has. I need to go shopping there. Saleen's prices tend to be more than I want to pay. But pep boys aren't

Haha that is funny so all that engineering work for tooling that we did, and Steve than just went to pep boys and bought the parts, wow I wish I had know!

Those home heating duct grates you "engineered" for the hood of that 25th anniversary mess-mobile look great too. So I guess he's slapping his name on parts from Home Depot now.

I tend to agree. I think Saleens look too overdone and tacky. I would never argue the performance mods are great, but the looks don't appeal to me at all. I prefer a more clean and classic look to modifications rather than the gaudy spaceship look.

People will complain about the 2010's "sideburns" being too "ricey" and then get all excited about a car that looks like it's ready to go into orbit it has so many scoops, flaps and fins.

Expect some production pictures in the first quarter of this year. The rear gets fixed.

Saleens always remind me of a High Performance Cheese Grater with all of those Gills, Grills, and Scoops. I really can't stand many aftermarket Ground Effects for that reason. They just do not know good taste and restraint to design something that Flows With the styling and looks like it's actually part of the car.

I've never been a big fan of MOST Saleens for that reason. There are few that I have seen who's styling is more reserved but freakin' sweet at the same time. I like those. For example:
