Question Is it NEEDED??? (Stone Guard)

Out of curiosity, is the stone guard completely necessary? I have a 2014 ford Mustang with Roush Chin Splitter installed but the guard, has been ****ed due to annoying incline on my driveway.
I understand that is is only a 50 buck fix but is it really worth it?!?!? Anyone feel free to chime in? Thanks

Welcome to the forums!

If you're tracking, yes, get the thing replaced. Your downforce balance front to back will be all messed up and you'll have severe understeer.

If you're just street use, then the thing is not required. This is not to say the undertray isn't required, mind, just that splitter. The undertray is required, for both airflow and for rock deflecting from the oil pan. Oil pan no likey rocks.

But it'll look less cool, so I'd say it's worth it and required, c'mon. Also, you need to fix your driveway.

Hope that helps!

I am surprised that the Roush chin splitter is not trashed as well. I would think it would go before the stone guard...
