What does ol Shelby have up his sleeve ?
What kind of Mustang is Shelby going to introduce at the Detroit Auto Show ? I think it is going to be a twin turbo Boss 302. That would make for a wickdly fast track car.

It's been rumoured that Shelby is doing something with the Boss. That info has been posted on the Shelby's website. What that something is I have no idea.

He's gonna slap two dozen Shelby badges on it, put some Ford Racing catalog parts on it, make a new wheel for it and charge an *** load of money to some nostalgic old bastards who remember when Shelby was a bad *** a century ago.

I've been saying that for five years now. I wish Ford hadn't signed an extension to his contract. I'd rather see the royalty fees they pay him put back into the car giving it more bang for the buck. I have never seen any value in vinyl stripes, plastic lettering, stickers, etc. Just call the top dog an SVT Cobra - please, Ford.

I cant see a Fiesta or Focus modified by Shelby at this time. Why drive up the price of an economy car ? The idea of Shelby building a Focus or Fiesta makes me laugh. 
I would think Shelby would want to do something really big before he goes horizontal. I could see him take a Boss 302 LS and add two turbos and go after the ZR1.

I thought the ZR1 was already covered by the new 2013 shelby...
shelby has been making little fast cars since the start. People just figured they had to be muscle or pony cars to be cool.

Ouch Joe. How long was Shelby's name not on mustangs? 30 years? The original cobra wasn't a mustang anyways. SVT had done some great things in the last almost 20 years. I have respect for Shelby but his your car was built in the same plant and line as a sixer.
