2010 GT500 Conv Black/Grabber stripes

 

Just watched it. It looked sweet!

 

Too bad they never mentioned the fact that the '10 vert did not get all the same suspension upgrades as the '10 coupe did. I think they left the impression that all GT500s were incapable of being used as track cars. Very misleading IMO. Also a bit disappointing that they never mentioned any of the 2011 changes. I realize this episode was probably filmed months ago but that is no excuse for giving the buying public false impressions of the true capabilities of the car in it's latest form, especially since the 2011 stats have been available for several weeks. The Ford website now documents the many structural improvements to the 2011 GT500 convertible. It is even available with the SVT Performance Package which should make it a very capable track car, something the 2010 vert was never intended to be.
