Just as the thread title asks; is it possible to get a 2011 GT500 in black with the SVT Performance Package and Grabber Blue stripes?

If you can does anyone have pics of such a combination?

 

I tried to build one on Ford's site and it would'nt let me.

 

If its of any interest my local dealer has a 11 Black GT500 with SVT pack and stripe delete sitting int he showroom, only it has the glass roof and a $10k mark up Gulp

I guess u could always add GB stripes, just not ont he roof :-)

 

Yeah I tried building one too but there is no option for the stripe color when you select the PP as far as I could see. Maybe it only comes in one color.

Thanks for the info. Neil but I have to admit I'm just looking for some photos of one. Your idea would be what I would do though if I could afford one and were in the market. I just bought a GT last year as it's more in line with my income

Maybe I'll photoshop one just to see the results. cbr1000 has a 2010 in this combination, I just wanted to see one with the thin stripes

 

LOL me to sir, although I must admit I regret now not buying a GT500, if they'd had a 2010 GT500 in the dealers stock when I went to get mine I would probably have said "sod it: and bought that instead, as it was all they had was on 09KR which wasnt for me

 

Anything is possible with enough Benjamins and desire, as long as you don't ask Ford for it.

Why not on the glass roof? The tape stripes would stick to glass just as well as to painted metal.

I was looking in the book. With the SVT PP, there is only one stripe option for each color
White, Grey and Silver get Race Red with Black pinstripes
Black and Kona Blue get Race Red with Silver pinstripes
Race Red and Grabber Blue get White with Black pinstripes



I would love to see the Performance White with Red/Black... I think that'll be stunning.

 

There are plenty of black "blank slates" out there. In fact, I think I've seen more black SVTPP GT500's without stripes than with stripes. Pick one up and paint the GB stripes on, I think that would look killer.

 

Yup... It you wanted you could have them paint a thin stripe with a silver pin, in the same style as the SVT PP stripe... The challenge is the GT500 side stripe and getting that matched in GB... That's my one hesitation to having my stripes painted into the car. I want them to look exactly as the decal does.
