Ridiculous dealer markups!

Are people still paying these markups? I'm ready to step up to the plate but can't see paying anything over MSRP.

It is only $5k, they will probably accept MSRP. Actually, probably less with the '11 coming out.
Which, by the way, I would wait for. Any savings on the '10 will probably be instantly eradicated (and more) with depreciation and resale value when the '11's come out (given the new AL block).

Becuase of this I've been poking around on ebay and I've seen a number of used GT500s. I just can't understand how you can get 3000 miles that quickly.

I'm definetly waiting for the the AL block as the GT350 does nothing for me, but at these rates it's looking more like the 5.0.

I asked the knucklehead about the locks, he wasn't budging off the price. I walked out, sure it'll sit there for a little bit.

The dealer is two years too late. They missed their chance and the boat.

I've given this quite a bit of thought, in this economy; it's selfish!

I would never buy from this dealer

I agree, $129 for wheel locks is crazy. No deal.

This dude is high with the improved 2011 coming out in a few months. I would hope for MSRP as a dealer right now. I'll never pay ADM but this is just crazy.

I had a bunch of dealers offering me sticker on the 2010 about 2 months ago, but only on cars they'd have to "trade" for from another dealer. This was the case as I wanted Sterling grey, but they wanted 5K over on the 500 on their floor! It was Grabber blue with the red stripes.. Are they serious? That is a color combo you have to love! Still there today.

I have 5,600 miles on mine. I got it back at the end of July and it's been sitting in the garage for the most part since Nov. People actually drive these cars! It's True!

That makes no sense. You should be able to get the better deal on their car since they might not get hold back on the dealer trade.

We sold all of our 2010 GT500's below MSRP by a couple grand as we wanted them gone before the news of an aluminum block for the 2011 became official. Sold those 2010's very quickly.

Smart man. It's better to move a product and make something for it than gamble looking for the big score.

I'm guessing they had a $5000 ADM on the 94 PaceCar and its been seating ever since?

There are a lot of idiot dealers in the Chicago area. I see a lot of 2010 Mustangs still on local dealer lots. Thyey should have gotten rid of them already especially with the massive jump in performance from the 2011's.
