Material hold can mean any part, even stripes or a radio (I've seen it).

 

I ordered a Ruby Red on May 21 and it is still processing and no vin yet. I'm waiting until August to check again. I will be at lot more at ease when I get a vin. I ordered the 821 A, track package, white stripe with the standard seats, standard stero and no nav. The wait is killing me. I having second thoughts that I should have found one close enough to what I want abroad and fly in to get it. It seamed like all the ones close to what I wanted were way over MSRP. I ordered mine at straight MSRP so I'll just have to wait. Me and osso12 should be close to the same time frame. Good luck to all.

Ruby red with white stripes should be stunning. I had a hard time deciding between ruby red and race red. I ended up going with race red and white stripes. Did you consider blue stripes ? Might not be many built with blue stripes. You may be surprised how soon your vin # will show up, keep checking on it.

There is no cloth option for the GT500

 

I was tore up deciding on which color of red, so i let the family vote and decide knowing i would be ok with either so ruby it is, my salesman swayed me into the ruby color as well by pointing out that it will be the only year model to get this color and may add to value later on. After seeing some of the photos of how the ruby color changes and comes alive in the light, i have no regrets that its for me. They also talked me into the white stripe, but i was leaning towards no stripe to be less flashy and figured if i dont want it i can take it off. This is a big step for the 52 year old guy that never had a fast or nice car growing up and has been driving a chevy pickup and a corrolla for a longtime. Im getting close to retirement and buying my retirement ift early!!
