Ordered 2014 GT500: The Wait Begins! Ha!
Today finally got my car in the system and submitted to Ford!
2014 Shelby GT500 black w/red stripes, recaros w/red accents, voice navigation,
SVT Performance Package. Dealer states unlike chevy, there is no way for the customer to track the vehicle but he would keep me posted.

I'm biased but your colors are a great combo. You'll enjoy the SVTPP. it should probably come with that package standard, but that's another discussion. The wait can be difficult.

Ordered the same color combo, (great choice!) good luck with the wait, car was ordered march 15th, built may 13th and still sitting at flat rock awaiting transport, supposed to be to me on june 12th (keeping my fingers crossed).................

When you get your Vehicle Order Confirmation (VOC) make sure the car is configured the way you want it and be sure to check out the Priority and the Order Type. Priority should be 10 and the order type should be 1.
The dealer code and order number will be on the VOC and will be needed to track the status of your order.
Remember, all cars are on "Material Hold" until they have been scheduled for production.

That is not true, you can follow your vehicles progress through SVT and Ford Customer Sevice.
When you get your Vehicle Order Confirmation (VOC) make sure the car is configured the way you want it and be sure to check out the Priority and the Order Type. Priority should be 10 and the order type should be 1.

So glad to hear that u finally got the beast Saparish, Since I've had mine since Monday I agree (what wait...hahahha) it is a horrible wait but so worth it. So anybody waiting, good luck, it's a brutal process, But it all goes away the moment u hit the gas for the first time!!
