I never miss a shift or grind a gear regardless of the RPMs. Some of the malcontents sound exactly like the epidemic many of the '01 Bullitt owners suffered in finding 3rd gear. That's the beauty of the current GT500 gen, it needs no mods, including the shifter. Perhaps instead of spending money on an aftermarket shifter they might consider practicing to improve their techniques and become a bit more proficient.

BULLSHEET!!! Anyone who's says they've never grinded a gear or missed a shift in a mustang is lying. :edit: changed liar to lying because it sounds less threatening.

I've re-started a habit I hadn't been able to do in many years - no-clutch upshifting. So yes, I did get a little gear bounce one-time when I did a poor job of RPM matching before pulling the lever.

I hear you, and MGW might be just what the doctor ordered for those who never lie.

Read it again, slowly. My previous statement is based on the current GT500 gen which anyone who has had previous editions can tell the difference. Would I have claimed I never missed or grinded a gear on either one of the '07 GT500s I had then your liar reference would not only be appropriate but accurate as well.

...and like I stated, this current gen GT500 shifter is a POS.
