I'm thinking this is the way to go, for me. Where else can you get aftermarket go faster goodies and not have it void your factory warranty?

I'd say it does void it, or at the very least reduces it to 1yr/12,000 or something similar.

It'll void my marriage. Cause I'd have to buy a 2011 GT500 to use it.

To offset the cost for the 2.9 what would the stock 2.1 be worth and who would want it? Sorry I'm very green with Ford perf parts.

I thought if it was done by the dealer, the FRPP supercharger warranty rides along with the factory warranty for 3 yr/36k.

Nonetheless, it's a good point you made. More review is necessary.

I only said that because for some reason I was thinking that the FRPP kits for the 3 valve engines changed the warranty. The standard 400hp kit dropped it to 1yr/12k and the 550 HO kit voided it altogether. Don't quote me on it, but it seems like I read that somewhere. Either way I'd really read the fine print before I jumped in with both feet based on something a dealer says during a sales pitch.

???

I think the key is if the authorized dealer installs this kit....then maybe it rides the 3 year 36k miles.

It sounds like a must have on the wish list of a 2011 GT500.

I would like to see the specs after this kit is installed...

I assume it would add to the challange of keeping tires on traction. Anyone who manages complete control can look forward to the upgrade otherwise the 2.9 becomes a very expensive way for having bragging rights. It would be fun though.
