I take option 3. Option 2 if I feel like being magnanimous - but I don't.

Like the idea,
like the engine combo and stuff
don't like most of the look... and by most I mean almost all of it.

I suspect this will start very negatively and as time goes on the populous will mellow

Doesn't do the original any justice at all. If it were a Shelby GT I'd be fine with it.

I'm a big no on this one, but I really did try to like it.

I like the hood and the taillight bezels. That's it.

No! Give me a stock, Coyote-powered GT any day over this grossly-overpriced monstrosity!

i dig the rear end treatment, the front not so much. less shelby badges and more mustang badges might have helped. the body kit isnt helping much either. i mean why not stick a GT500 front end on there and delete the fog lights and stick the tri bar pony logo in the grill?

Definitely. I'd take the GT 5.0, save the $34k and still be happier than a pig in poop.

Over-rated.

Let's see for $33k I get to have Shelby put on FRPP parts, a cheap looking body kit, and then have Carrol drive it for a minute. I think it's a disgrace to the original GT350.

Performance-wise it might be a killer, only time will tell, but I don't like the exterior at all, excepting the rear. I have a hard time seeing this thing being worth any where near $30k+ over a stock GT.

Looks (and insane pricing) aside, I'm interested to see how this performs on the track.

If it handles like everything else they make there it will loose every race it's in..can't get all those ponies to the ground....yes I'm looking at you KR

I'm not in to body kits, but do dig the engine with the Whipple blower and big brake system.

I'm just trying to give it the benefit of a doubt in that department. Great track performance might be the only possible redeeming feature of this car.

When looked at purely for aesthetic reasons...... absolutely not
(I don't like anything -- from the random cut lines in the front, to the ridiculous rear backup lights in the back that could have been mounted flush, or the awful vinyl stripes that don't fit the scoop very well, and have cheesy GT-350 on it, and don't even cover the rear.)

From a mechanical perspective -- not really. Anyone can mount a blower and slap on Ford suspension parts, and we don't have final numbers (do we?), or even what has been changed (I hope the rods were), and how the dealt with the high compression.

From a value perspective.... not even close. $33k, really? That will be a $70k car -- look at the competition it will have in that market. Look at the pure, legitimate and beautiful sports cars in that market. And, the GT-350 looks cheap, kitschy and way overpriced.

From a marketing perspective....why not? Grab every single penny you possibly can and sell anything that can possibly move while you still can, right?

I will admit my first thought was the Roush 380R with that front end. But I LOVE it!
