From: CenTex...sort of
I wouldn't sell mine for any price below six figures, and even then I'd have a really, REALLY long conversation with myself about it. These Shelbys are unique; they're the last editions of the S197, they're the most powerful car Ford has ever built, they're an absolute blast to drive, an owner can add upwards of 100hp for pennies...why in the world would I want to sell it? For the first time in my life, when I get in that car, I feel like I am in MY car. That thing fits me so well. It's like sliding your hands into a pair of deerskin driving gloves. It may be a collector's item to someone else, but to me, it's part of who I am.

Well said. There is nothing like finally meeting your car!

Of the (4) give-away cars it was the only one custom painted.

Even though it's pink, I like it. It's one no one else will have. I think the graphics are pretty cool also. Good score.

MyStang2010GB, did you trade/sell the Custom Shelby? Looks to be for sale at Brandon Ford?

I have put 1500 on it since June 26th. I just enjoy driving the car
Weird. Referencing this post here he says it made it over 5k miles..

Mileage is wrong in the listing...if you look at the pictures on the car page, the car has 7,303 miles on it.

Yeah...I wonder what happened? Quick cash? Or maybe looking for a 2015 next year?

Yes... I got rid of the car. I did it in prep for a 2015. I needed a truck right now more than a Shelby. Once the '15s are released for orders I'll be ordering one. one the car comes in the wife wants the keys for the F-150 FX2. I got good money for it on trade but not great money.

Not sure where they got that mileage on it either. It had just over 7200 when I traded it.

New truck is a 2013 Ford F150 FX2 with Ecoboost. 401A package with upgraded 20" wheels. Mods so far are Line-X berliner, tint and bed extender. Once I get a few miles on it and make sure all is good it'll get a CAI, exhaust and tune.
