Custom 2013 Shelby Give-away Car

I just went to my local dealer today and low and behold the custom 2013 Shelby that a lady built on the mustang Customizer website was sitting on the lot. It was too much power for her and she was not comfortable driving it in the stop and go traffic.

HERE is the video of her receiving the car:

Should i or shouldn't I??? Color is nice in person surprisingly...

I'm going to the dealer now to go see the numbers they have worked up but it comes down to me putting $2500 down and my payment goes up $120 a month which is no big deal. Its the insurance i worry about with my 3 speeding tickets... waiting on insurance quote

I can swing it easily enough. insurance increase is $80 a month plus payment increase of $120. Not bad.

Went back and had them pull the car out into the sun. Definitely more pink in color in the sun. a few door dings, paint chips and scratches. it was obvious the lady lived in an apartment complex. I contacted Galpin Auto Sports about paint code to have those issues taken car of properly. We will see...

Window sticker is just over $60k. Doesn't have NAV, or Recaros, or Shaker 1000. it does have glass roof, performance pack with Bilstein Adj dampers.

I would look elsewhere, the door dings, chips and scratches would be a deal breaker for me....

Its just paint nicks, no dings. Had the body shop look at it to verify.

i contacted Galpin Auto Sports today about the paint code. I gave them the VIN# for the car and they pulled up the list of what was done to the car and paint code. I sent them pics of the CobraJet graphics and where they are coming up. They told me the car was purchased thru Galpin Ford and customized by Galpin Ford before delivery and therefore all the customizing was COVERED UNDER THE 3 YR / 36K MILE warranty. Since the warranty and the 7 yr / 100k mile FORD ESP Premium was transferred to me all the work was covered. I also found out the car was supposed to have a brushed aluminum "SHELBY" fuel door. It doesn't. I sent a pic of this as well. They are going to send me the graphics, the fuel door and touch up paint and paint code.

They were great to deal with!!

Parked for the week!! Heading on our trip to the Bahamas in morning...

I haven't been able to find it so is say yes

Only thing I can change is the gauge color and halo color and can't find red/white/blue like the pre 2013 had.
