Hello all. New to the forum, well first post, been scanning the forum for over a month now. There is alot of smart people here been learning things everyday. Just wondering if anyone knows when there gonna start building the 2113 gt500? I have my deposit down at a dealer by my house he said they are allocated one for sure and will be mine. Getting excited and can't find the build date info. Thanks in advance and glad to be here!!

 

Probably late spring of 2112.

 

I'll forgo the obvious response to 2113 and say that may 17th is the date I've been given for retail orders to start building. As I told someone else on here in another post, we can expect to see deliveries in late July but you can probably expect to go until August before you take delivery.

 

Maybe I'll be alive to see the 2113! LOL

Yes that was a decade to mess you up but only because you don't remember the 60s.... come to think of it I can't remember them either and I was there.

 

Well, I got some new info. My regional rep asked me to email her all our retail GT500 orders to her. The plant is getting ready to start sooner than the May 17th date. It looks like its going to be the end of this month for retail builds to start!!! I'll see if I can find the email and post it.

 

I hope this will actually happen, the good news that just made my day. Thanks for sharing Jeff.

 

Two weeks sooner is good, though admittedly that's one less paycheck to tuck away for the down payment. I'm not complaining. Really.

Holy Toledo Batman thanks for the info Jeff. Mixed feelings here been working 80+ hours a week for down payment. Just don't want a 600+ car payment if it lands at my dealer too early. But boy oh boy I can't wait to sit in that drivers seat.
