Not true! Polar bears are very important, they eat all the extra people on the planet, starting with those hippie types out to save them.

 

Are you questioning why a GT500 convertible or coupe can hit 200mph? Well accordind to Hameedi, your sitting right on the answer.

And if thats the case, we in the GT500 community certainly thank you for getting Ford up off its *** and making sure the GT500 remains the top dog.

Anyways, funny story, back in the 80's and 90's some fox car drag racers were using verts because they thought that the soft top gave them an aero advantage as it balloned out while going down the track.

 

Someone said roll bar in a convertible? Just happen to have one (had to get it, car was running too quick for the rules - any convertible faster than 13.49 in the 1/4 mile needs one)







Had it custom fabricated by a guy who builds cages for rock climbers.

 

Love the rollbar. The car just looks so complete. If I ever bought a convertible, I would put a rollbar in it.
