Sorry to hijack the thread Shelby Mama, but had to chime in - I grew up half an hour west of Milwaukee in Delafield. Had one of my first post-18 years old experiences in Appleton at a little place called Beansnappers

For all you "haters" out there, keep hating. You are not in my shoes, if someone pissed in your Cheerios you would be upset to!

My husband and myself WILL be having a conference on Monday morning 8am. However, they don't know yet. They will bend to our demands, otherwise I will be call Ford customer service with a lengthly complaint or even a conference call with the dealership. We will see what transpires.

I didn't even notice the exhaust. Good eye elkk!! Just more fuel to the fire on Monday.
There were a bunch of people who were seriously injured by 2 bombs in Boston last week and 3 people killed. Their lives will never be the same.

You have a reasonable case to get some compensation for some of the troubles and get your car repaired, but I'd like to think that all of us would benefit from spending a few moments to keep things in perspective.

I hope things work out to your satisfaction.

PS - I sincerely understand the passion. I came out to see my 2010 damaged by someone who backed into it about a month ago and left no note that damage was caused. I was livid.

Why not just go to the Strip Club on Silver Spring on the north side? I've been there once. Was fun.

Same question here. FCS isn't going to have any additional info or input, it will all come from your dealership I believe. Wishing u the best.

My niece and her husband live on the street right behind the church.
He used to DJ the strip club. And they own the adult toy store.

Another Wisconsinite here. Franklin, WI.
I'm actually heading up north today. Going to Gresham. Another "don't blink or you'll miss it" town.
Taking the GT/CS. A little under 3HR drive.

Anyways, good luck to you on your Shelby, Shelby Mama. I hope it turns out great in the end for you.

Wisconsin, a great place to work. But, you can't afford to retire here. Unless you're from Illinois.

Well, well,
I'm sure your all wondering about the delivery saga....

Gave the "stealership" our list of "needs" to make the deal right.
-OEM Silver Shelby stripes and side stripes, installed
-Window tint paid for and installed at OUR place of choice.
-Complete detail of car

Needless to say the "stealership" is not willing to do the stripes or window tinting. There claim is "This was no ones fault." Blah, blah, blah. This is true, but come on! I don't care if your spending $1.00 or $100,000, it's called customer service.

Also found out from a outside source that a tire was replaced.....wondering if it was crack because of being subjected to the cold temperatures like others had problems with? What else are they "not telling us?"

We are still in "negotiations" at the moment. The car is at the body shop being fixed also. Hopefully, I will have some new information in the beginning of the week.

I would have walked by now, but what ever makes you happy. Given the start some things aren't meant to be, in my opinion.

Again, you're lucky to get anything at all for free. It is no ones fault, and they don't owe you anything. Good customer service does NOT mean giving away money to make people happy. At this point, you seem like one that is going to cost them more money than you would ever bring them in. You make it sound like fixing a messed up tire is a big conspiracy...They saw a potential problem and fixed it, so that you'd never even have to deal with it. Be glad that you have the best dealership ever, I'd have already told you to get lost...Your dealership is doing everything right, and you've done nothing but doubt them and trash them. You're never going to be happy with this car, so just forget about it and move on.

Same here. I would have had an order in another stealership. Too much going on.

I would decide after the repairs were made whether I want it or not. You're getting to optionally involved I'm this IMO. I know it's a special car and you ordered it but decide if you want it or not, once you see the repairs, and be done with it.

I do realize its a '14 and things change next year. And as the end of production approaches it may be harder to get one but I really don't think that's the case right now.

When I got my Raptor there was a black one that came in the week before for dealer stock that had roof damage in transport. Luckily it wasn't mine and I didn't have to make the decision to get another one or take that one.

They just fixed it and stuck it out on the lot with an ADM and sold it in a couple of weeks.

First of all no truck drive will wait for the customer to show up to watch the car being unloaded. They are paid by the load not the hour.

Second these "defects" are the reason cars are PRE Delivery Inspected Prior to customer delivery and they DO NOT have to be disclosed by law as it's less than $500 in paint repair. Do you think all cars make it from the assembly line to the dealer and then to you with NO defects being repaired? Get a LIFE!

Third... By you calling the dealer a "Stealership" it is completely irrational and ignorant! They make less than 5% profit on each car sale and have to deal with people like you. 5%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU negotiate on buying food, electronics(which in most cases have over 50-300% markup) etc??? Come on, get a life. And you call the salesman a liar? Most salespeople work waaaayyy over 50 hrs a week. Boo Hoo you work 40 hrs a week and guess what? Your industry(Medical, Hospitals) actually STEAL from people by charging $10 for a Asprin and $15.50 for a tiny box of tissues. (both items from my stay in thr hospital after back surgery) Don't be a stuck up ***** and treat these people with respect and they will do the same. If I knew you were bashing my store the way you are that ford dealer I sure as hell would refuse to sell you the car! What good would it be? You already have bad things to say, are trying to get products for free because of no fault of theirs, AND you call them "stealers" and "liars" SERIOUSLY WHY WOULD ANYONE SANE PERSON WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU??

Fourth...the damage on the car will be covered by the transportation company. It's trivial stuff that will be fixed and no one will ever know. Like I said before, this stuff happens at the plant and is NEVER disclosed because it's trivial. It will NEVER affect the value of the car or cause an issue down the road.

Good Luck! The car should be delivered defect free and in pristine condition. But you need to get off your high horse and realize this is a man made machine that is serviced and sold by people that want you to enjoy the car to it fullest and enjoy it for a lifetime. If you are not happy now, just walk away and stop bad mouthing the dealer, the salesperson, and the industry and build your own car!!!
