I've placed my order already. I'll be surprised if I see it before late Summer, but I expected it to be a long wait.
Patience is a virtue.
I don't think there's anything at all wrong with the GT500...I think like Shaun said, there aren't very many built at this point. They just now came out with reviews for the V6 and the GT. It's going to be a bit I think before the Shelby is reviewed.

Well, the way he presented the fee was crap. There is a "fee" to sell GT500s. Its two $1,000 payments for the 2013 and 2014 model year. But its not an "early access fee" but the program fee to be able to sell them. Without signing up, a dealer can't even dealer trade for one down the line.

I believe it is a fee to be able to sell SVT vehicles, not specifically GT500's? No guaranee SVT will produce a 2014 GT500 but it is almost certain they will given the interest in the 2013.

Its a fee ONLY for GT500s! There is NO fee to sell Raptors. There will be a 2014 model GT500. The '14 will be the 2013 body style, but won't be a very long build as the new car will be a 2015 model year marketed as a 2014 1/4 and will go on sale on April 17, 2014.

A dealership in our was offered a Shelby GT 500, but declined. Ford told them they would have to pay $2,000 .
Im wondering if this fee is basically Ford getting a piece of the ADM, befote the dealers do it, they wanted a piece of the action.

Its really weird why a dealer would decline it. The fee is for 2 model years. Basically a $1,000 per year fee to sell the car. And at MSRP, the dealer is making a good profit, even on a base car (around $4000). This car helps the bottom line come back after all the Focus, Fusion, F150, etc sales at invoice. But some places I guess don't want to deal with the hassle maybe? I dunno.

Yes, that looks really good. I seen it too on Barrett Jackson. I am not sure if Black with Black stripes is my choice now. Have to see it in person to really decide. No matter what this new 13 Shelby GT500 is the Hottest Mustang around by a long shot...

I never liked white stripes on a red car, but the white stripes look near perfect . I wonder what black stripes would look like on the same color GT500. I was looking to get black stripes.
