I will share one of my emails with you guys, perhaps some will relate to it.

Hello Mr. XXXX,

Below are the answers to your inquiry.

1. Yes.

2. Yes.

3. I did not make an appointment only a reasonable offer on the outgoing 2010 GT500.

4. Yes, on a used car.

5. Not anymore. I have ordered a 2011 GT500 at $1,000 over invoice plus applicable taxes, tag, title registration, and dealer administrative fee which was similar to the offer I made for your 2010 GT500 and the 'clean' trade in value for my 2008 GT500. The only mistake I can think of is the assumption potential customers are not informed with the reality of the present market. Perhaps it might be wise to consider 2007 has past and making a bit less profit, specially from a repeat customer, is a lot better than making none at all and losing on potential future sales. I will commend the fact all members of your dealer which I came in contact with have promptly responded all my emails and have been courteous.

Thank you,

George

Hi George,

In order to be sure this process works as it should, would you mind answering a few questions? This information will used to update and streamline our process. Thank you in advance for you help.

1. Were you responded to in a timely manner?

2. Did we answer the questions that were asked of us and did we give enough information to help you make a decision?

3. If you did come in on appointment, did you get to talk with the manager?

4. Did we give you information on similar vehicles with similar equiptment that were less expensive?

5. Are you still in the market for a new or used automobile?

Thank for helping us improve our process... because with rebates at an all time high and interest rates at an all time low... many of our customers are finding that they can drive a new vehicle for about the same and sometimes less than they are paying to drive their current vehicle.

Ask us about our "lowest cost of driving analysis". Let us show you how to get into a new car without all the hassles of other dealerships.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

XXXX

Good news today! Well, kind of.

The dealer was finally granted the allocation for my car, the next step is the build date. I hope to be driving it within six to eight weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks! The good thing is I am not an impatient person. Really!
