14 Shelby Kooks Headers

I just wanted to know if there was a big difference between the 1 3/4 and the 1 7/8 headers. Is there a noise difference because that is what I am after, a louder car.

Choosing headers should compliment your other plans for the car, what are your goals ?
If you just want noise, several aftermarket mfg.'s have offerings for your car, Kooks is one of them.
.
( I have 1 3/4" on my 11, and 1 7/8" on my 14, both Kooks, .............stock mufflers on both cars )

I'm more comfortable in the 11, 8900 vs 1200 miles, & even after removing the clutch assist spring in the 14, I still hate how and where the clutch grabs.

Yep me too. It engages really high. I had a 11 gt500 and now a 14 and that's the one thing I've noticed. What have you done about traction in your 14? What was the biggest help? I'm gonna start with tires and see how much that helps.

BMR adj. panhard bar, UCA, & LCA's, rear sway-bar relocation kit.
3.73 gears.
Pirelli tires, which are better than the GY's, but @ my hp, hooking is a pipe dream.

I'm at that point now, and I've got Toyo 888's on the back.

I went with the BMR UCA and LCA's as well and it's a great start to stabilizing the rear during hard acceleration. I went one step further from the panhard and put a cortex watts link on the rear, but I also take mine to road courses so it was a necessity
