'11 GT500's on eBay - be aware of...
I've been looking around on eBay and other sites quite a bit at the new 2011 GT500's, and just noticed that a few dealers may not be aware that the 2011's are exempt from the Gas Guzzler tax. Just wanted to put that out there to any of you potential buyers, you could save a few bucks.

Ford raised the MSRP a bit over $2,300 for the '11, in essence the savings of the GGT is nullified by the increase of the MSRP.
Understood. I've just seen a couple listings where the dealer was 'nice enough' to provide a breakdown of the price, and they have the GGT listed as an additional $1k or so.

I've seen it as well. In calling a few of those dealers this past week I found most dealers are actually willing to sell at MSRP.

With a few stubborn exceptions, more Ford dealers are receptive to agree on fair deals with the knowledge the 2007 GT500 rush is long gone. In my search two out of three dealers offered me $1K over invoice without too much of a hassle, the other was firm at MSRP. Many dealers have finally realized making a sale for less is lot better than being greedy and not making one at all.
Does anyone know what Ford's current holdback for the GT500 is?
