That's what it says and they stuck it 2 me,

good this morning , Called me yesterday and said "We think we got a pretty good match on the paint" ? We Think !
Drove over this morning and met with body shop manager who said they didn't blend into the door or anything but wanted me to approve the color on the fender , He then had the Tech back my car out of garage / shop and the Body Shop Managager and Myself stood there and watched this frickin' IDIOT back my Bullitt right into a damned parked golf cart . Needless to say I didn't bother to make the extra drive to Tampa to look at the wheel , Figured the day was cursed enough.

Un--frickin'--believable.

Or perhaps, to try to inject some "Princess Bride" humor into this sorry saga...

INCONCEIVABLE!!!

Wow, that blows. I think at that point i'd try to take my car elsewhere and send them the bill. This is just becoming ridiculous and much more of a headache than it ever should have been.

You are under a serious black cloud with this situation.
Just a side note:
Accidents like this do not show up in carfax.
It was already in for bodywork and the dealer damaged it.
Remember carfax does not always tell the whole story, it is just a useful guide.

I think it is time to get an attorney involved , I should ask for a full refund for repairs aleady attempted , at least 3 months of car payment's , 2 to cover the 6 out of 8 weeks they have been working on it and another to cover the month it will take a Better body shop to fix thier screw up's , lost time to make no less than 10 - 30 mile , 1 way trips to there from hope to look at another screw up , medical expenses for my sudden increase in blood pressure , then a FRP supercharger just for aggrivation but only if it's installed from a qualified service center. Anyway , had Progressive call me this morning and said he'll be at Jarrett Ford in the morning , Don't know that he can even do anything except threaten to cut future repairs from them.

I will definately be on the phone with Ford Customer Service in the morning and Yes I know it's long overdue , Didn't even get an apology from the circus clown that backed my car into the golf cart and damned if I didn't have anything but my old a$$ camera phone to snap a pic with , It was one of those you wish you had video of because it looked like it was done on purpose

No, what the Progressive people should do is find you another place to take it, and cut the dealership funds for this 'repair'. That's just plain stupid the problems you've been having, and if Progressive was any good, they'd help you get someone to fix it right.

Re: "pound of flesh" don't bother. Trust me, they'll be out enough money just losing for time and materials. I understand, have been there... you probably won't win anything once the atty's get theirs.

Sheesh... man, I'm so sorry for ya. I hope it comes out right soon.

Sry, I am confused because of mutiple threads. Did they fix this yet and do you have the car? Sorry for your troubles. I think you need to get the car out of there and move to a new location too.

Good point... single thread is probably a good idea. In any case, I think it's like this:

Got the paint finally 'right'ish, but backed it into the golf cart. Now it has to be redone again.
Wheel wasn't quite right... dude's off to do it again. Shades too light.

But that's just me, thinkin' out loud...
