preliminaries are: 05-31-08 cruise from john young pkwy (orlando) to S.R. 50 on to the tarpon springs area, for a picnic/or lunch at beef o'brady's.
just figured some of you guys might want to meet up to hang out, once the approx 20 cars gets over your way. I'll get back with alot more info as it comes available.

May 31st





If you are headed from Tampa,you will be meeting with the guys at exit 10 on I-4@ 8:15,they are leaving at 8:30 headed to Lakeland. we leave Lakeland at 9:am. headed to Haines city, leaving Haines city around 9:30.





Main meet will be at 10 am-11/11:30 off hwy 50, just down from john young parkway. There is a vacant parking lot behind a Chinese a restaurant (not visually confirmed yet). Please look at the map and you can see exactly where to be.





We leave headed west on hwy 50 @ 11:30, taking the route on the map headed towards Tampa. We may stop off for a bathroom break or if we find a good spot to horseplay. We need to be at Beef O' Brady's around 2/2:30 PM. We should have seats reserved and plenty of parking.





Just down from beefs is a park,called Morris bridge park. Its a good place for pictures and just hanging out.

 

This cruise looks like it might be a real good time with a whole bunch of Mustangs showing up from Tampa and Orlando. Is there anyone from the Inverness / Crystal River area going? I'd definitely be up for it if there is some interest.

 

Actually Yes. We are having our monthly meeting tomorrow (3rd Weds) at Nick Nicholas Ford, RT44, in Inverness at 7pm. Come on over and join in the fun. We will be dicussing this, Cypress, and other cruise as welll as talking up our weekly barbeque meet at the BP in Homassa.

Hey there as the "other Dave" said the Nature Coast Mustang club meets up the third Wednesday of every month (which happens to be tomorrow). We would love to have you come and join us. Its free to join and in fact if all goes well we should be getting our "official" shirts tomorrow and as Dave said we will be discussing upcoming events. We also meet up every Friday night at the Homosassa BP station right next to Wendys.

I enjoyed meeting quite a few of you at the Sonic in Crystal River several weeks ago. I would love to come to the meeting tonight but my wife and I had previous plans. I'll try to make the Friday night at the BP.

In any case, I do have Saturday the 31st open for this cruise so if there is a list being made please include me in.

Sooooooo, how far west on 50, are you coming. If you're not aware of it US19 on a Saturday is treacerous. Although 50 ends at 19, I'd suggest an alternate route prior to reaching the end of 50. maybe 301, 41, or the SunCoast, down to either 52 or 54, then accross to Tarpon Springs. The more of 19 you can avoid, the better. Let us know your plans, so we can get a group to join up with you for that final leg.

the mustang forum website crashed i guess, so with the above info from post #4, and the google map above that's all i know. hopefully today sometime it'll be back up.

 

wow! ya'll missed it. it was a great time. there were some interesting cars there as well. total was 21-22 cars. all but one was a S197. we had four roush's, and one two day old GT500!. that was an awesome route! i'll get off my lazy but and throw some pics up, hopefully tomorrow. if we go that way again some of you HAVE to make it.
