This is a question for those of you who have lowered your car. I have the Eibach prokit on order, what else to i need to replace? I have been reading up on the mustang suspension on the forum and still have not formulated a list of other things i should be changing out, if any. I see most of you have used lowering springs on your stangs. so if you could just help me out here, remember i am a newbie still!

For just lowering the car you really don't need anything else. It depends on what you want to do with the car (drags, overall driving, etc) as to which suspension parts you replace.

No prob... The springs are really all you need. You might have a little bit (1-2 degrees) of neg camber but it's really no biggie. It actually makes your car handle better, but will wear the inside of your tires a little quicker.

Ford has cam bolts to correct the angle if need be. I kinda like the handling plus... I can show you in person on Sat.

I don't have any experience with the Eibach other than the three other guys that have them here in the club. Seems to be a pretty strait forward affair. I chose the Steeda Ultra lite springs which don't give quite as much drop as the Eibachs. I will be installing on Sat so you can get a first hand view of what is involved.

Welcome! Again Sat there will be springs being installed so this may help in your decisions.

Jeff is right... first you must determine what you want to do with your ride. if you like any type of racing I would definitely look into the tokicos shocks, they are sweet, they allow you to adjust your ride to your likeing. you can make your ride stiff as hell for the track or soft as hell for grandpa soft road trips, brings your ride back to better than stock. now for traction purposes Lower control arms and relocation brackets are a plus. When lowering the car you also move the angle of the factory LCAs which change gripping power at the drag strip. Paul is right about neg camber and the bolts can fix that. Also some times after lowering the rear end kicks to one side, an adjustable panhard bar can fix that lickity split!! Also the final thing would be to adjust the cars center with an Upper control arm. But for just everyday driving, lowering springs are all you need

I was told you will need the camber bolts. I will be doing the pro springs soon also.

the tokicos are not close to 360! try 500 after discount at stang suspension. also i couldn't find the camber bolts very easy.
