Your tune is the each to all issues and problems and promises. A bad tune will kill a car even without a SC

Took off Friday from work, so up at an extra-early time this AM. I'm reading from this thread that we'll be out at the TNT this Friday PM? Awesome I've not yet had the chance to run the car.

For Jeff - the 2.6H, from everything I've read from KB's site and from what Jim Bell and Kurtis told me, will make less lower-end hp and tq, than the regular 2.6. At higher boost rates, the H will make more power and torque, but at 8 PSI, it loses volumetric effeciency. I'd like to take a ride in yours (not sure what other non-SC mods you have...knew you had the tuner and such, but most of those are replicated or replaced by the SC, I'd like to take a ride in yours), and then we'll take a ride in mine and compare.

Interesting about the 2 different SC. Makes sense about the volume thing. I hadn't even thought of that. Are either of you KB fellas considering Long Tubes?

I'' have more HP and torque due to the lightweight DS which frees up HP in the driveline, plus I have 410 gears so it will react much differently than with 355s. You are correct about the higher boost but we spoke with Jim Bell and he claimed my loss at 8lbs boost would only be 5hp which I more than make up for with the DS

I wonder if those DR will be enough now? I see Hoosier QTPro's or ET Streets in the future!!!

A blower and 4:10 gears makes for traction issues even with DR's.. Let us know how the session went!! Either way it will be a blast, would love to see it run!!!!

with that power... if he uses true slicks... He'll probably break at least an axle. I'd beef it if up a little more Jeff.
