David, any new news here?

 

Yeah - I ordered the gears last Thursday evening the 8th; got an email from the vendor the next day saying that they're moving locations and "everything ordered online past 5:00 P.M. on the 8th won't be shipped until Tuesday, 11/13 at the earliest".

I've got Benji on standby; but I figure with the holidays next week it'll be the first week of December at the earliest before I can get them installed. The good news is that I've got Steeda UDPs and a Spydershaft on the way, also.

 

David: We'll take care of everything except the gears... Pays to have Benji do those.

 

Great! I'd love to take advantage of you guys' experience; especially with installing the UDPs. I'm thinking I'd like to swap out the driveshafts just before having the gears done, that way if I lose any diff fluid Benji will take care of that when he does my gears. I don't mind hosting the next tech day, either - my stuff shouldn't really take that long, so we'd have plenty of time for other projects.

You shouldn't lose any fluid with the shaft change. Easy cheesy if you do it right.

 

Spydershaft is a good DS, that is what I have now.

 

How would you know Jeff.... have you even run the car with that driveshaft yet??
