Help a Brother Out!! What mod do I go for next??
Benji installed my Spydershaft along with the 3.73s; with those two mods it definitely feels punchier off the line. With the wet weather of late and the salt they just dumped over the roads my precious MG will be sitting in the garage for awhile, however. Still have the UDPs sitting in the box ready to install at the next tech day. I understand the UDP install on an auto is a little different - instructions say you have to remove a plug on the tranny and hold it with a 14mm socket to keep the crank from turning when re-installing the crank bolt.
I thought I was interested in the Bullitt SE 'til I started reading about the possibility that they're bringing back the "Boss" in '09 with the 5.4 engine.

hmmmmm....interesting. 5.4 you say? This could be interesting.
David: No need to do anything different on the Auto UDP install. I installed Bobbys. impact worked just great. Took 45 mins tops. I do the install if you want.
Yep you should only have to hold the flexplate if you are using a breaker bar.
I used a breaker bar once
No need... Impact wrench. All one needs.
Good to know, Paul; thanks! I'll take you up on that offer - probably after Christmas sometime. I think Tony wants UDPs too; we'll have an install party. Kurtis said he's seen gains of 5 HP at the rear wheels on just UDP installs.
I do want pullies, but also want to change the shifter and cam covers.Cam covers first.
Tony let me know when you want the covers. I can bring them with me to work or whatever.
Kurtis has seen 5hp to the rear... I believe Doug at bamachips saw 7-9hp to the wheels ...the they are a worthwhile mod
It's that thing you keep sticking foreign objects into...
I'm taller than you laying on my back...
