You need the C&L Racer anyway.
That one looks to me that you also have to buy a tune.
Well i clicked checkout and the total still stood at $199 after i had put in all my info. about my mods and my car

Thats a Demolet carbon fiber CAI there David! lol
There is 1 in the middle of that page there but that doesn't say anything being the 2 it just says JLT so i figured it was the first one
LOL! i know i see that but no where on there does it say JLT 2 when right next to it on the website it says JLT2 w/ x cal. I'll just call them
No I purchased my Xcal from RPM OUTLET and got hosed with canned tunes... called bama and they hooked me up with a tune
Difference between Bama and Brenspeed.... Brenspeed you have to purchase the product from them to recieve a free tune.... Bamachips if you purchase a tune from them...its for life..They will for free give you an updated tune no matter who you purchase the product from...for example you purchase a used JLT such as I did...I got my bama tune updated for free....if I had a brenspeed tune and baught a used JLT I would have also had to purchase another tune from brenspeed.
Not sure if the JLT from bama comes with a tune but it might be worth it go through bama...that way you can buy used parts and not have to worry about buying another tune and tacking that onto the price

So i could buy a used/new JLT from someone then buy a tune from bama and they update me free anytime i get something that will need a new tune correct?
correct.... lets say you buy a BAMA tune for your CAI...then you get CMCV delete plates used from a member on this board or some longtubes on ebay.... all you do is email BAMA the updated parts you have installed and they update your tune for FREE.
Only thing is....Doug at Bama is hard to get ahold of. So if you need an updated tune and email him for it...it might take a bit to get it. FYI
Whatev.
okay. How will they send me a tune for my x cal and JLT tho if they don't ever see my X cal or JLT?
Sorry guys there are problem stupid questions, but i've always been a bit confussed w/ tunes and programmers and ishh
1)BAMA or Brenspeed emails you the tune to your email
2)You save the tune to your computer where you can find it (I have a tune folder I created)
3)You plug your XCAL into your computers USB port using the supplied USB cable.
4)Run a program called LIVELOAD (you can get this on SCT's website)
5)Use LIVELOAD to search for your tune that you saved and download it to your XCAL
6)GO plug the XCAL into your car and wallaaaaaa...you have a beast
