water leaks
to those of you who have had water leak concerns in the front cowel area, there is a new tsb 07-14-06 that addresses this concern. it covers 2005-2008 mustangs. hope this helps.

Do you have a link to this TSB so it can be printed out to show the dealer? I had this problem back in January and got water inside and all over the SJB and stuff went all haywire. I had to have my SJB replaced but they said they could not find a leak and therefore did nothing to fix that part of the problem.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Found a personal pond on the passenger side for the first time over the weekend. I'm glad to know a TSB is out on it. Perfect TIMING!!!!

I would like to read the TSB too, my car has been to the dealer twice this summer for water leaks. I would like to know where the problem is so that I can make absolutely sure the problem is fixed. The carpet was absolutely soaked the first time and I'm still concerned about the padding under it, would like new carpet but the dealer won't do it.

Thanks for posting the TSB. Mine has been dry , sort of, since fix #3.
Does the TSB mean Ford admits a problem, so if my floor pan rusts out I have more clout in an owner's complaint??

Thanks so much for this post. Now I will get this issue delt wit again, and hopefully fix. I only noticed problem once on trip to the coast when raining. It just doesn't rain much here at home. But, I always wanted this fixed.

So far my carpet has been dry since the second repair, and it has rained very hard a few times. I will still be checking to make sure everything is ok in there though, and change the cabin filter while I'm at it.

Glad to finally see a TSB on this! I wanted to get mine fixed before our fall rainy season begins, but was afraid that without a TSB the dealer would be clueless. My car is due for its 10K service as well, so the timing is good. I'll let you guys know how things go after I take it in.

well my car just turned 2 years old and i have never driven in the rain - so i guess to be safe rather than sorry before the warranty runs out she will have to endure being driven in the next really good rain storm -- sorry baby LOL
