Unable to start
Unable to start
Hi. So I just finished my long tube install and all seemed well until I try to start it. I go to start it and I just hear a click and then nothing. I thought it was the battery and did charge it so that isn't the problem. I checked the fuse for the starter in the passenger compartment and it isn't blown. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

May be preaching to the choir...but, the only thing that comes to mind is a possible ground problem. Look around to insure all the ground wires are tight and reconnected. I had this happen in '69 while I was stationed in Italy. My 69 Javelin 390 had two ground wires on the battery, and one had fallen behind the battery out of sight. I was at the auto hobby shop on base and had six guys helping me for hours. Drove us nuts and we only found it by accident when we went to remove the battery.....duh!
Thanks for the tip. I got it to work. I just let it sit on the ready stage (one click on the key before you start it). Then it just fired up. I think the computers and everything needed a second to get ready or something but now it works fine.
