There's your noise! With that bolt broken the chain has been moving out and hitting the reluctor wheel. On a side note, for the miles on that engine, that is one of the cleanest internally I have seen a 4.6 with that many miles on it!

Yup, with everything moving it has been making contact and all that metal has gone through the engine, hopefully bigger bits were caught in the filter but it has spread into the oil.

Drain That Oil & Strain & a Clearer Picture Should Be Had!

Filter Can Be Cut Open as Well!

Other Vids Out There Just Wanted The Process Presented

Could Have an Oil Sample Tested For Some Detailed Info!
