Angry Radio volume varies

After having my shaker 1000 radio changed for skipping a couple of years ago now it's acting up again. This time, with SpeedVolume OFF, when I come down in speed to a stop, the volume climbs somewhat. As I start rolling again and speed up the volume drops. This is even more annoying than the SpeedVolume settings which seem to work fine. If I try to adjust using SpeedVolume1 it doesn't bring the radio to normal mode. Anyone else have/had this problem? I hope the radio isn't on it's way out again. I can just imagine what that'll cost to replace. This is the problem with having too much electronics ie. body control computors. Nothings an easy fix anymore.

I've had my windows tinted for 2 years and my problem started last spring. I might possibly see something happening if the tint had metal material in it that might block antenna reception. Mine is just standard tint though and still using factory normal length antenna.

If your stereo is going bad, replace it with an aftermarket unit, you'll be much happier.

I know this is a really old thread but since I replaced my oem battery this spring, I haven't noticed any volume climbs from my radio yet. I also haven't had any really hot days to see if that affects the radio but so far so good.
