One touch stops!
One touch stops!
Don't know why but the driver side control for the one touch up passenger window only, stopped working this weekend. The switch on the passenger door still has one touch. The switch still works for the one touch down and will roll the window up if I hold it. The driver side window still works completly.
Anyone have this same issue?
I am hoping the switch is just dirty.

the procedure to fix this is in your owners manual - i would tell you if i remembered; i wish i had a dollar for every time this was asked in all of the mustang fourms - be well into the thousand dollar range - it is simple just look it up
Good to see this again. My drivers side has just started doing the same thing. What sucks the most is it won't do that auto crack business when you open the door, and up that last 1/4" when you shut it. I had forgotten the 5 sec at the top trick too. I'll give that a shot when I get home.
It is the reason they removed the Global window feature from the lineup after users said the windows rolled down on their own when they were away from the car. Which to this day I have never seen. Maybe if they were not pressing the unlock button for an extended period of time it wouldn't happen to them
However, as you already found out you just roll the window up all the way. Let go of the switch. Put it back in the up position for 2 seconds and that resets the system. Happens to my passenger side window about once a month. No big deal to me. At least not worth getting rid of the feature. I love being able to roll my windows down from a distance.

I love this place! This happened to me yesterday after my battery died. I searched and voila!! here is the solution and I didnt have to deal witha dealer wanting to charge me to check every little thing on the car!!
