No fuel pump power no start
No fuel pump power no start
I have a 2005 GT 4.6. Car had been running fine. Suddenly would not start. Replaced fuel pump, inertia switch, checked all fuses, straight wired inertia switch, replaced the fuel pump jump switch(located in the trunk). There is still no power going to it or the fuel pump plug itself. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Was Any Work Performed Right Before Issue?
Was Car In a Heavy Rain Right Before Issue Started or Ran Through a Car Wash?

No start
No codes from my hand gel scanner
The first time it happened I was driving, stopped at my son’s house for about 2hrs. Would not crank when started to leave. Messed with various things at that point with no obvious signs. Got it finally started by spraying carb cleaner in the breather. I k ow not the most ideal idea but I was trying to get it home. drove it for about the next two weeks then it has not started since then. That’s when I started with the fuel pump, which I changed 3 times thinking I could have gotten a bad part. It happens. There is now after market alarm. As far as rain nothing to bad that I can remember. With that being said, I know these cars are notoriously known for leaks. It is a convertible. I have found dampness in the passenger side floor board at times. When I removed the passenger side fuse panel there was slight moisture in the compartment. The other issues I have noticed since this happened are the seats are not working and the top doesn’t seem to have it’s full power. I concern is the smart junction box is faulty and might need to be rebuilt. Grasping at straws before I go that route.

With The Multiple Issues and You Saying You Saw Moisture I Would Pull SJB & Check All Connections. Look For Signs Like in This Post. Don't Worry this is In 2011-2014 Section it is Still Relevant and Check Out Entire Thread. Also Plenty of Other SJB Related Threads. If You Find a Particular Plug With Issues We Can See What Functions Are Controlled There.
Does Your Scanner Read B- Codes {Body Codes} as Well as P-Codes? If Not I Would Borrow one That Does and Again Check For Codes!

You Are Welcome.
While Actual Wiring Diagrams are Different On Your 05-06 Vs 07-09 In Some Area's, There is a Lot You Can Glean on How The Fuel System Works if You Read Through This Thread.
