Mustang shifter dot does not move

I have an automatic 05 mustang and the dot on the shifter remains in park. The shifter moves and shifts just fine but that dot is always on the park spot. Is this an easy fix?

If you notice he didn't fix the indicator but the procedure to get there is shown.
