We got another VB Ford today- kinda matching, but 'hers' is a V6/Auto Pony pkg...and an error on the dash- Anyone got the info on how to 'relearn' the TPMS? Got the car at auction, could see the battery had been jumped, from the rotors, looks like its sat several months...hoping the thing just went so dead it 'forgot' the Tire pressure monitoring sensor positions- and the car dont have a owners manual, and my 06GT didnt have TPMS... appreciate any insight into clearing this.

Have a OBDII tool, might plug it in tonight to see what it says, but figured its almost certainly an owners manual item...TIA

You can buy the transmit tool to teach the sensors to the car from the dealer for about $15. they are including them with Fseries trucks and vans now that have the TPMS. Comes with an instruction sheet on how to put the car in learn mode and then you have each sensor relearn to the car using the device.

 

Hey thats wierd for the very first time ever I had that error come up yesterday after I reinstalled the K&N but after hitting reset kept coming back on, but after a good zip down the highway it was gone ?
