The Honeymoon is OVER!!!
Fortunately, I also suspect that it's a relatively rare occurrence. Ford seems to be fixing the quality woes that plagued it a few years ago, realizing that they'd have to if they wanted to stay in business.
My car sat all winter last year (about 4 months or so) with no problems. While in the process of moving it sat for 3 weeks at the old house. An appraiser came in and apparently set the alarm off (We were living at the new place). I went to move the car and the battery was dead. I called the appraiser and he said he wanted to look inside the car and tripped the alarm. WTF? He said he was suprised I locked my car in the garage. After a few choice words and a complaint to the BBB and the company he represented I was okay.
