After doing what I said in posts #3, and #13, I haven't had any problems since.

I haven't run into the problem after starting to turn the nozzle 45*-90* CCW before fillup.

Occasionally, I would have the fill up problem, left the ignition on today and no problem.
Thanks for the info.

The original TSB solved my filling problem almost 2 years ago. I haven't had a problem since.

My 07 GT had the problem last year but this year has been drama-free. When I hear it start to click off, I rotate the nozzle. The reason why I named the car "Janie" is because the GT has been very temperamental, just like the real person. One day the nearly empty tank refuses to take gas, the other day it will spit it up all over the car, on my shoes, and on my clothes. On other days, it will take the gas like nothing was ever wrong.

Interesting.

I have easy cure for that and always get full tank: LEAVE THE POWER ON (don't start) while filling up. With power on, the evap canister (under rear of car) makes vacuum to circulate the air inside the tank. Try it. IT WORKS!
My '05 GT w/17k miles just started having fuel fill problems last week. Just came back from shop today; tech stated he could find no obstructions and powered 'vent valve' was working properly. Another forum stated that the 'vent line filter' was the likely culprit; will price and possibly replace.

Will try your suggestion friday as I'm out of town on business tomorrow; thanks for your contributions.

Update:

Was able to fill tank after leaving key on and holding the nozzle at the 2oclock position. Ordered a new inline vent filter ($20+) from the dealer.
