fog lights hazing

I have had my fog lights replaced 3 times and each time the chrome on the light is hazy, does anyone else have this problem. They look like crap when the fog lights are on.

I do believe that lot of it has to do with how much you use them...the more you use them, it appears that the haze will form just as much. Use them sparingly (i.e. for rain, snow, fog, etc.)...it probably won't create as much haze. I don't use them much and hence, I have little to no haze.
I really don't think they were designed to be on all the time...and the reflector doesn't appear to have been made with expensive material.

There's been a bunch of threads on this. My '07 had the haze on the lens since they day the car was delivered. I contemplated having them replaced and everyone said the replacements are just as bad. It's a shame because I almost never turn them on because they look like crap when they're on. I'm just leaving them as is.

As I've said before...
My Hella 500s have no haze.
They look great and are super-bright.
They just aren't fogs anymore.

I have an '07 GT/CS with 8k on it and I have been using the fog lights as daytime running lights - no haze yet but now I will not use them unless needed as I do not want hazy fog lights...thanks for the info

It has nothing to do with amount of use.
Some come with it from day 1.
Mine had about 3 to 4 hours total use time.

Mine are fine too. I have a very early 05 (11/2/04) and have used them a lot. The material might be defective from one batch. I would complain too.
