Hi I have an 05 mustang gt with a little under 30,000 miles and the clear coat by drivers side front wheel well is coming off. Is this under warranty? I did not hit anyhthing or scratch it and I do have the extended warranty also. Thanks.

 

As long as there were no prior repairs made in that part of the car, yes, that should be covered.

 

Just wondering.. what does it look like when your clearcoat is coming off? Is it peeling off in patches?

thats what clear coat failure looks like. my daily driver is COVERED in clear coat failer (CCF) but since its a beater i could care less. now if my mustang had that it would be going back to the dealer to get a repaint so fast it would make ur head spin.
