My baby girl is one year and three days old and has 8,415.2 miles on her. She's back at the dealer for round two of picky items to be looked at. Her last big trip was in December. Hopefully nothing is too serious or too trivial.

1.Noise (from rear) during low speed turns with TCS on or off
2.P/S airbag off light comes on when 150 lb. son is in
the seat
3.Squeaky steering wheel at times
4.D/S light bulb center black peice is melted(or looks that way)
5.Shaker 1000-Spits out good CDs,Speed volume control does not work
6.Hole in hood liner/mat
7.Horn button Pony has chicken pox
8.Autoshifter scratches
9.D/S,P/S window tint scratches(they will replace, but I figure it will scratch again)

Question for those of you with rear window tint- At night, can you see out of the rear window? I can only see row after row of the headlights behind me. Nothing else can be made out. Poor tint, or nature of the tinted beast?
She hasn't been gone an hour and I miss her already!

 

you got any pics of your auto shifter scratches?

i have some on the bottom of it from where the black piece rubs against it

 

No pics,but that's what I'm talking about. Someone here or on another forum said their dealer gave them a new one and installed some felt to prevent future scratches.I mentioned that to my dealer.

Yeah my dealer ordered me a new shifter and installed felt to prevent future scratches. don't bother with the window scratches my untinted glass was scratched too, Ford is working on a fix. Don't know about the Horn button I have heard some other members complaining of the same thing, after I read about it I immediatly put wax on mine. No problems so far with either the shifter or the horn emblem

 

65 Mustang went in today for an oil change. My 05 was in the service bay. Service writer was busy, said horn button required D/S airbag to be ordered, should be in tomorrow. Rear end noise was TSB for clutch pack. He's thinking late Thursday,maybe Friday. Said he would keep her in the service bay at night for me. We didn't discuss other issues. I mentioned the beautiful blue Stang parked next to mine. He said she was in there for comparison. I miss my car.

 

Freakin dealer. Car's been in for FIVE days. Yesterday,Fri.,they said parts would be in for clutch pack and they would install today. I just went to pick the car up, knowing I'd return it Mon. for what FEW items they did not get to. They have not done one thing in five days! I'm so ticked! I had an appointment. I went in the week before and discussed EVERYTHING in detail!
