Noticed that the driver side quarter window molding did not meet the door glass the same as the passenger side. The gap on the driver side is about 3x more than the passenger side. Also, when the roof is down, and the windows are up, the the quarter window comes up about a 1/2" shorter than the door glass. Took my 2007 GT convertible to the shop for several minor issues and I brought this to their attention. After investigating this problem, they determined that it was normal because all the new convertibles on their lot are the same. Even the service writer could not believe that this could be normal. He is checking with Ford about this. My question is; has anybody either notice this condition or have taken their car in for service for this.
