Had mine since '07 and not had any real issues with thw top except for some excessive wear (marks from it being down) due to a design issue. So my top was replaced under warranty last year with supposedly a new design), but otherwise, no problems.

I have an 08 GT vert. I ride with all the windows down (top up) on the interstate, leave the top down for extended time, no problems at all. Never had a leak. These are not tops of yesteryear.

I've had mine since April 2006, and have 166,000 miles on the car. No leaks or problems at all.

I have had leak issues with my 07 vert, but not through the top itself.
There was a typical passenger side cowling leak in through the cabin filter but now a diver's side quarter panel leak and slow drain (you hear water sloshing over your left shoulder). In the latter issue, water and debris is draining off the top and collecting in the quarter panel just in front of the rear wheel. If you take a flash light and shine it down the rubber seals of the rear window you may see water and crap. I shop vac'd mine and got a ton of pine needles and lots of h20.
