Charging System Voltage question

I have a question, about a month ago my alternator went and bought another PA Performance 130 amp one along with the upgraded power wire. When I start the car cold the volts are at 14, 13.5 while cruising on the highway and drops to 13 and 12.9 with the lights on at idle.. I didn't notice it ever dropping below 13.5 with the old alternator, I called American Muscle and they verified this is normal.. I just had the battery replaced and hoping it's charging properly. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance for any help.

12.9 V sounds lower than I remember, but overall the voltage dropping as the car warms up is normal. Check out this thread:
