Car Power Dies Upon Startup (2005 GT Auto)
Hey Everyone,
I seem to be having a problem with something in my car's electrical system (i'm guessing). It's a 2005 GT Auto, and when I turn the key to the "start" position, I hear a weird buzzing sound from the dash, and lose all power to the instrument cluster and radio (previous station, previous screen on message centre, clock all reset). A second or two later, everything comes on.
For some reason, it seems as though the starter motor is killing the rest of the car's electrical system.
Has anyone else had this problem? Obviously the car is off warranty so I'd rather not just hand over the keys to the dealer and say go to town.

Definitely battery. Did that in my Mark VIII, and almost did it in Awesome before I had that Motorcrap battery replaced.
/Yeah, I went there with the name. Prove me wrong re: these batteries.
