Get an open ended wrench, 10mm I think. Take the wrench, place the open end over the first nut. Turn the wrench counter clockwise and repeat until the bolt loosens. You'll also need a 5/16 socket. Place the socket on the 'other' nut and turn counter clockwise as well until it loosens. Then get a flat head screwdriver. Place the screwdriver under the clamp and gently pry upward. Remove the clamp and secure away from the battery so that it doesn't spark. Hope that helps.

Read the post again. I added something. You'll need to remove the first nut (closest to the fender), then loosen the other with a socket.

And be careful not to let any of your metal tools touch any metal on the car while you're wrenching on that positive terminal... that could be bad.

Good luck with your stereo install. FYI - your next post will be "Where do I run my primary wire?"

Answer - take off your right front tire (under the battery), remove the rear section of the fender liner (4 or so plastic screws that you'll need to loosen then pop out), and you'll see a rubber grommet that you can poke through that leads into your passenger kick panel. From there you can remove the plastic trim and run it back to your trunk.
